Hey guys,

I've got the carpet in my 4x4 5 spd and the carpet it stained and i hate carpet. I want the ST rubber floor. Anyone have one for sale or know where to get one? Dealer wants 320 dollars for one! Only 10 left in the county too!

Ebay, none, anyone know of a good aftermarket version or maybe a used one your looking to sell

thanks

erik

I found this new vinyl floor in the JC whitney catalog. It says it is molded to fit our trucks. Price is 169. 95 free shipping and the vinyl is 1/8 inch thick. How thick is the stock dodge rubber floor?

Thanks

Also have the liner that goes in the center, up front.

Ya i saw those but always wanted a full rubber/vinyl floor. I found a company called ACC that sells OEM molded vinyl floors and carpet, 1/8 inch thick with 40oz jute padding, extra thick at the pedels. Comes in black, grey, camo, blue, red. 120 for the black and 140 for the other colors. Looks pretty sweet. Check it out at: ACC molded vinyl flooring It seems like it is pretty heavy duty. Anyone else deal with these in their trucks? Dodge price for the stock one is over 300 bucks! ouch... Does anyone know how this a factory dodge vinyl flooring is?

Erik, I found this post while searching for something for my truck: I wanted to replace the carpet with a rubber mat or roll in bedliner.

Did you end up buying the ACC flooring? It looks like it'd be a lot less work than getting up all the sound absorbing mat and paint to put the roll in stuff correctly... .

I did end up using the ACC flooring black rubber flooring. For you, the install will be a little more simple since you dont have the stick shift to deal with, only the tcase lever. Also a regular cab. The install was easy, better with 2 people and a sharp razor knife. Add extra padding underneath such as dynamat or dynamat style stuff on ebay. It will make a world of difference. For the price, you cannot beat the stuff. Fit pretty good too the latter part of the day to finish cutting and fitting and scretching. Best tip is throw it in the hot sun, you cannot install unless the stuff is nice and warm. .

Is it fairly flexible like rubber or more stiff like a plastic? How thick is it?

I already have the carpet out, so that should help :D

and thanks for getting back to me so fast. :)

Yes-

It is fairly flexible, Much more after letting it sit in the sun. When you install this is key to making it easy to install and fit into the truck. The sides of the rubber floor are extra long so you can fit and cut the stuff. ACC did a fairly good job at pre-molding it. The stuff is thicker than normal rubber floors i have seen in ford super dutys and rangers. I will try and post a pic in a few hours...

That looks really good, I'm having a hard time making a decision here on which I want to do. I DEFINITELY do not want to put that smelly old carpet back in...

Was shipping very much for it? Do you remember how much it totaled out at? You can pm me the price if you don't wan't to post it... ;)

BTW, I like those trick clear doors. ;) :p What kind of tool did you use to remove the panels? Did you need to buy new plastic connectors to reattach them? I need to take my p-side on off, I have a water leak... :(

That stuff looks great. Thanks for the pics.

I might have to order some up to replace the crappy vinly floor in my new truck.

Do you think the vinyl is thick enought to hold up pretty good. I know the OEM vinyl floors don't hold up too well.

Well, the molded floor is nice because it cleans easy and won't get moldy or hold a smell if you smoke. I do miss the carpet feel on bare feet but the texture of the vinyl floor kind of feels good too. Either way, I'm glad with the decision i made.

Cost for a club cab like mine was 115 plus about 25. 00 shipping (heavy stuff)

Took about a week to get to me. Order is direct from the company, JC whitney sells it to but they add 15 percent onto the price. ACC carpet

Your price for a reg cab is 89. 99 plus id say about 20 bucks shipped? So for 110 bucks you get the flooring and some jute padding. Not too shabby IMO. They even sell camo and different colors like blue gray beige for a few bucks more.

About the durability of it, i have had it for a few months now and it has held up good. Had some metal in the cab and no tears or gouges yet. I have never seen how thick the Dodge OEM flooring is but i have seen the stuff in ford trucks and this stuff is 2x thicker. Harder to install but better in the long run.

As for the door panels, I used this WORTHLESS tool from kragen and hated it. Bought the correct one from Snap-On, it is a bluepoint, you can find them at carquest or other places too. Or order off of Snapon.com. It is well worth the 30 bucks. Try ebay too... Snapon.com YA331 Basically the tool is thin and you slip it behind the panel, push together like spring pliers and the clips pop right off. Makes life easier and you damage the door paint less and no broken door panel. You don't need to get new door clips as long as the panel has been on there since new. Normally you can reuse them once. Dealer charges 3 bucks a piece and they are like 12 for each side. Someone told me to try Elliott Distributing for a 50 pack for 12 bucks . While you got the panel off, replace worn out speakers, clean and regrease the power window regulator and check for rust and rustproof the inside bottom of your door. Your paintjob will thank you for that!

any questions just let me know. . good luck, post some pics when you decide, love to see what camo would have looked like :D
