2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission rubber flooring...

After removing the carpet from my truck, I am considering the rubber/vinyl floor option. Noise reduction is also a consideration. I plan on putting down something like dynamat. Question is, should I then put the vinyl right over that or should I put some type of foam down? The old carpet and foam seems to be really thick,much more so than just the dynamat with vinyl. Would it be worth laying the old carpet down and putting the vinyl on top of it?

See my recent thread about the rubber floor, i posted pics... Anyways, call up ACC and order the rubber floor and they will send you a fair amount of jute padding to go underneath everything like the factory carpet. Get rid of the carpet, use new dynamat, then jute then rubber floor. . Done... .
