Poliglow sealant

My new Rig (truck and camper)

Hello all.

I had the roof sealed & still have a leak. My guess it's coming from a vent seal or rubber to metal interface somewhere.

Question ... I'm thinking of buying some kind of plyable roof sealant to goop up around all the vents & rubber to metal interfaces. Suggestions on what to buy?

I want to make sure I get something that'll seal to both rubber & metal surfaces.

Use self-leveling sealant made for rubber roofs. Camping World and other RV supplies will have it. Don't be stingy w/ it and clean areas w/ alcohol or a recommende prep cleaner... no petro based or harsh cleaners. Make sure you use sealant putty made for rubber roofs as well... the type for metal roofs will degrade the rubber roof.

Check closely around seams on the sides... sometimes sealant breaks down behind the molding.

Hope this helps,

Dicor is a very good sealent for rubber roofs. Look for hairline cracks in the sealent mostly in the leak area. We find roof leaks that stay on a truss rib all the way across the trailer before showing a leak inside.
