Hey guys, here's an off the wall question. I am looking for a part number and/or source on the rubber seal attached to the door itself. One of the seals is about 18" long and goes on the front of the door along the window frame. The other one is on the top rear of the door and is approx. 6" long. I had about $5000. 00 worth of hail damage fixed recently and the body shop, which is at a 5 Star Dodge dealership, says that Dodge does not offer those pieces as replacements. I find that hard to believe after seeing the importance of them. What's happening is that they have to adjust the doors so tight to make up for the absence of the strips the door is almost impossible to close without slamming. If the door is adjusted where it closes properly then every little bump of shift of the cab causes the door to squeak. In both cases, I have wind noise at about 55mph at the top rear of the door. Surely one of you guys have run into this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I not trying to hog your tread but im curious about the door adjustment. Did the dealer do it or did a bodyshop do it? I have a 2001 QC after i bought it i noticed that top of my driver side door doesn,t shut flush with the quad door it sticks out alitte more and i somtimes get wind noise . At first i though it was my mirrors making noise till i noticed the door  . I was thinking of taking it to a body shop i figure they probly deal with doors more than the dealer. Sorry to here about your truck that must have been some serious hail.

I have the same thing on my truck wind noise from the drivers side door. I personally blame the body shop that fixed my truck after the guy at the alingment shop backed it off the rack with the door open and folded the door all the way back into the fender. They put a used door on it and it seems ok except for the wind noise i get at highway speeds. Is there any cure for this. It drives me crazy on long trips and windy days make it worse.

When the body work was done tehy had to reskin this door. I am still afraid that they warped a little when reskinning. I have let them adjust it twice and I have adjusted it once. I wanted to get these seals on the door to see if it will fix the problem or if we need to go deeper. Thanks for the replies.
