Thanks for the info. I'll be looking shortly. It might be good for those that find a kink to report it to the NHTSB... they take complaints like these that involve safety issues and its more likely to force a recall.

Checked my cable & it runs through the firewall out to the pump control mechanism, maybe the rheostat is out there and one has to remove the black cover to discover the suspected kink area???????
