Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Running Bad

Ok, my truck runs fine for a while (10 miles) then only has power like half pedal. Check engine light and codes 1693 and 1690. I know what the 1693 is but the 1690 only says manufactures specific pwr. train problem. I can clear the codes and the truck will run fine for a few miles then it all comes back, same problem and codes.



Any help with specifics on the 1690 and cause of the problem?

Could the the ECM be causing this, and not a bad IP?
