Running Board Lights

I have purchased a set of running boards with lights for my 03 Dodge 2500 pickup. Does anyone know of a easy way or correct way to hook up the electrical connection so the lights on the running boards come on when the doors are opened. Need some help on this matter. Thanks

Depends. . If you want all the lights to come on when any door is opened, just tap into the wiring for the interior lights (perhaps with a relay if your new lights draw much power). If you want the lights near each door to only come on when that door is opened, you're going to need a switch that closes when the door opens, just like a Kodiak sidewinder electric step uses.
