I've located (w/ the help of the TDR) the owner of the pickup from p. 49 of the latest Diesel Power magazine. I was interested in his running boards and headache rack and he has been generous enough to offer a group buy deal if there is interest from at least four (4) others on either the boards and/or the headache rack.

Here's the specs:

"Steps - 5x2x10ga tube with frame brackets. . Powdercoated.

Choices - Cab Length or Wheel to Wheel for all Quad (long or short) and Mega Cabs.

Headache Rack - Channel/Angle/Flat Bar construction w/ Flat Expanded Metal... Powdercoated.

Choices - Light Cut Outs, Slider Opening, Short or Long Rail Caps (w or w/o Tie Downs). "

We will negotiate price if there is enough interest (the more the better $).

I met up with Christian in Boise, ID the last time I dynoed there. Heck of a nice guy and sharp looking truck!

His steps were welded to the frame, but he had other ones made that were attached to a mount from a local step builder. He said on his truck he could lift his truck via the steps.

Yeah. That's what he told me too. That's what I'm looking for, a nice strong step/rock rail with a unique look. Always liked the square tube edges for some reason. Not too bulky lookin. Hope we get enough to do it.

I am interested in the headach and steps but I would really like to see some photos more up close then 30+ feet away, Also I have a fuel tank in the bed and would like to know how the headach rack attatches to the truck. Weight would also be nice to know seeing as I run accross scales.

Thanks

I know this is side tracking but who made the pushbar/brushguard on that truck. I have been looking at go industries ranch hand and that kinda looks like it. thanks

interested in the steps. Wheel to wheel is what I'm looking for.

Love the square tube look as well.

Any better pics of the steps?

Doug,

His profile says its a Ranch Hand (RH). I just inquired about some close ups of the boards too. I'll post later.
