Just got this 2015, crew cab long bed 4x4. I would like to install some wheel to wheel boards to help get into this thing and also get into the bed from the side easier. does anyone have any recommendations? i would perfer something with at least a 300 lb rating and also something to provide some rocker panel protection from road debris.

I have the Ram wheel to wheel and they are perfect.

If AMP made a wheel to wheel I’d consider it, but since they are cab length I put them in the same category as a Ford when it comes to likelihood to purchase.

There will be a day I suppose ,but its not that day yet :D I can still just step up on the tire if needed, and I have an AMP step to get in the bed tailgate up or down. As you can tell I can't stand those side steps  If I wasn't so cheap those power Amps would have already replaced those OE Ram steps , but they are there, and I keep hating them :)

I have the rear amp step and am 6’4”, so with a SRW I can reach a lot from the ground. But using the wheel to wheel steps is night and day over stepping on the tire. I’m sold, and can see why the OP wants wheel to wheel.

My dad had the cab length steps and wanted amp after using a friend of his Amps, then he used my wheel to wheel and went that route instead to replace his cab length. Funny thing is he has a canopy on most the time and still preferred the wheel to wheel.

Factory are nice, this is my Son's truck.

ya,, wheel to wheel is the way to go... i found "ranch hand" today online,,, they seem to have pretty stout stuff. also their boards are 500 lb rating i hear.

I am extremely happy with my White Knuckle Off Road rock sliders with the optional diamond plate and wide inner box. They provide enough of a step up for my wife in a stock height 4x4 2500, provide serious protection for the rocker panel area in case I get stupid on some rocky trail, and are extremely stout - I could use a High-Lift jack on them if needed. They don't hang as low as the factory wheel-to-wheels, so better ground clearance, but a higher step. Still made cab entry easier for both of us - I'm 64 and have a serious gut...

I'll try to grab some images over the weekend.

Jim
