I am interested in reading more about running the following fuels in my truck. Any information on the subject would be very appreciated.
1. ) Used cooking type oils
2. ) Kerosene or other distillates
3. ) Water/Diesel emulsions, or emulsifiers for this type of mixture.
4. ) Running a dual fuel arrangement with nautral gas substitution using the diesel only as a pilot fuel.
5. ) Also what is the exact theory behind propane mixing? Is it just an easy way of adding more fuel into the engine? I would assume the propane is just sucked in to the intake manifold, and simply supplements the engine heatload already supported by the diesel.
NOTE: I'm not too concerned about potential engine damage as a result of using alternate fuels... . the satisfaction of having my curiousity fed is well worth any potential risk!
