running in-tank and block mounted pump in series

About a month ago my transfer pump started going south so I took it to the dealer and they replaced it with the in-tank retrofit. I was not satisfied with the pressures, like all of the other posts here. I have the campaign pump that cummins released several months back, so I installed it in the original location and I'm now running both pumps in series. Oh man what a difference! For once it runs like it is actually getting fuel. This is just a temporary fix until the weather warms up. I purchased a used fuel tank module off of eBay so that I can remove the in-tank unit. Will the harness still plug into the old style module? I would like to install the glacier system and the draw straw. What kind of problems will I run into or need to plan for before doing this project?

PMcB - Check the "Draw Straw Install" link in my signature for some pictures of when I did the install on my 99. There's another fellow that took some really good pictures of the other (white) type module that our trucks came with.

I also bought a tank module off of e-bay. The plug at the tank will plug into the module. I also have the glacier kit. The biggest thing is to have the tank as empty as possible. I also went with the vulcan 1/2" line from the filter to the vp44. The glacier kit is easy to install. Read the instructions and you will be fine.

Thanks Joe, great pictures. Doesn't look like to tough of a job, just take my time and pay attention to the details.

Don't you mean "series" I cant imagine running in parrallel without running a secondary fuel supply line
