yep... they even put one in Tyler!!!! Really not sure why, anytime I drive by the entrance/exit its completely vacant!!. . theres some tax $$$ at work!!

The one that is north of Austin that almost connects to San Antonio is a GREAT idea though... I dont mind paying for that.

I mix my on road fuel 50/50% with filtered waste cooking oil, which I get for free. I have been doing this for years, but I feel no guilt, as nearly half of the fuel I use goes into my ATV, lawnmower, generator, tractor, pressure washer and firewood splitter. Also, with a truck that gets 18mpg on 50% cooking oil/diesel, I am still getting 36 mpg of diesel, so I pay more fuel tax than my mother does in her 45 mpg Jetta TDI! And what about those little econobox electric POS things that pay NO fuel tax?

I got checked in Georgia. I was pulling my flatbed with the tractor and implements. I went to the Farmers Coop to pick up some Roundup. I asked if they would weigh the truck and trailer and I pulled on the scales. When I pulled off, there was a DOT guy there that asked what it weighed. I just showed him the ticket. I was under the GVW and under the commercial license limit as well. He then walked over and opened my fill door and pulled the cap and checked for dye.

No dye, no problem. If I buy the offroad, I put it in containers for the tractor. I'm not wanting to pay the big fine to save the fuel tax.
