Well, the 75 hp injectors from DDP I've had in the tool box for a year finally got installed. Didn't expect the 12 valve to run so sluggish!!! My dog has more gitty up. Turbo lights up around 1900 /2000

rpms and then she'll go! Stock injectors with #11 fuel plate lit the turbo just fine at 1700 rpms. Now I will starve to death before the turbo spools up. Any suggestions out there from you guys as to why the sluggishness? I've bled all the fuel lines twice so I don't think theres air jamming the tubes.

Oh, I live at 7000' near Albuquerque, NM

Sray. . . . . smokes very little. Have played with the star wheel a little and had a lot of smoke, but still the same sluggishness, so I backed it off.

Gary: it's possible that the ddp injectors use a higher pop off pressure. So it fires a little later like timing being a bit more retarded.

Likely the injectors doesn't quite spray as fine since its got larger holes.

I didn't notice anything different other than smoother idle and less smoke with ddp 50's, but fuel economy hasn't really gotten much better yet. In the next month or so I'm getting my timing adjusted.

I installed a stage 3 turbo compressor wheel kit to spool faster and clean up more smoke, making the truck a bit more efficient especially with the trailer.

Thanks for the input Sray! I can see the injectors might have a higher pop off point . . . . guess i'll check fuel pressure next.
New Industrial Injection 6270 turbo installed last week with 72 compressor wheel . Just gotta fuss, fit and adjust

no. . . . I installed injectors first. . . . I get moderate smoke when petal is to the metal, but turbo won't spool up until 2000 -2200 rpms. Bummer, no power until I don't need it!
thanks, Gary

No, had the same situation with the stock turbo also, wouldn't spool up. I noticed my idle dropped almost 100 rpms when I first started up with new injectors. Idles at 800 rpms now. . . . I'm going to clean the air filter tomorrow. . . . gotta start somewhere :)
