Rust on your Rig in the Rust Belt??????

My son's 05 is starting to rust. He washes/details it every week and apparently it hasn't helped much.

This makes me wonder whether too much washing/detailing is bad...

i bought my truck in april 2007 from Lancaster PA. from the origional owner. he'd taken it cross country a lot aswell. the rocker pannels are toast, and the frame is rusted to peices. litterally, run you can over a frame rail and you get a hand full of flakes.



im in VA now, so its not as bad. in the fall i move to NC, then im going to grind the frame and coat it with role on bed liner, hope to help it live longer
