Rust!!!

Within a year the left side of my truck rocker panels,cab corner and rear wheel well lip is rusted threw... ... WTH is going on? :{

Corrosion is 10 years I think. Check your owners manual. Every post I see about rust I'm glad its not a concern in the Pacific Northwest. Salty roads. Blech.

A year of you buying it used?

I don't think you meant a year from it being brand new as it's an '04.

Has it ever been hit in these areas before you bought it?

If so and the body shop used the el-cheapo ebay (made in China) bodypanels I actually surprised they lasted a whole year in MI with the salt on the roads and all.

My dad bought one of the el-cheapo tailgates and the bottom edge of it started rusting within a month of putting it on!
