2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Rusted doors!

I need to replace the doors on my 01 quad cab. Should i go with new doors? If so, where is the best place to buy them? Or is there somewhere to get rust free doors from a donor truck? Haven't had any luck at the junk yards close to home!

Thats gonna b a tough one. I looked around for a bit for rear doors for my last truck (a 2000) and had no luck. I tried a few
aftermarket companies a friend in the auto body buisiness recomended and never found anything. My best guess would be to check out the forums people are parting out trucks all the time. I get on dodge cummins forum once in a while just to check out the classifieds they have pages dedicated to eavery generation truck. Good luck

As far as I know, no after market doors are made for the 2nd generation quad cab. Not sure why, because around here 95% of them are rotted out, you would figure there would be a steady demand for them!!!!. I think your best bet would be to get some used ones from down south.

why do they rust out, figure that out before you buy used ones, so that you do not end up with the same problem, my truck is 2001 quad cab no rust, keep the drain holes clear and was alot during the winter to remove road salt.
