Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Rusted/Frozen Wastegate - Where to buy new?

To all,

I am assisting a friend that has a 2002 CTD. His wastgate is stuck closed. The whole thing is rusted, the acuator won't move, and the litte tube (bypass tube???) looks like it has been crimped closed.



Can anyone tell me where to buy him a new wastegate?



Truck is stock, except for F1 100HP Sticks, with stock turbo.

You can bet the crimping was done intentionaly to increse boost pressure. The actuator keeps the gate closed. Remove the actuator assy with tube and see if the gate moves now.

Thanks for the info. I called HTT and he gave me some good advise and then said if I needed an acuator to call him back and he would see what he could do. Nice guy!
