My Father-in-Law has one of the early model trucks 91 he bought it new in Dec of 90. He took it in to have the wind shield replaced due to a water leak on the cab. Now it turns out that the upper windshield has rusted out the cab. He is getting a mid post and up replacement to fix his truck.

Has anyone else had this problem??
This is the first major problem with this truck. It is a 250 model he has close to 200,000 miles on it. He lives in Mid-Mich.
Thanks for your input.
See Ya
Chris

Not a diesel, but a freind of mine has an '81 W-250 and it rusted thru at the passenger side, just above the windshield. First time I ever saw this, but must be more common than I knew cause Ziebart now only warrants against rust thru from the bottom of the windshield down.

I have some rust starting in that area. I'm scheduled for mid-June to get it fixed. I'll see how bad it is in a month.
