RV front door prop solution

Every year we use the RV and every year we really get frustrated with the door prop. Its a pain to prop the door open and a pain to unhook the plastic prop from the door. Especially because it takes two hands to do.



I finally devised a simple (and potentially ugly) solution using a telescoping magnet and a carburator vacuum plug from my high school days (many years ago... ) Not my prettiest work, but hopefully effective. Its just a press fit using WD-40 into the rubber plug and plastic door prop. It can be latched and unlatch with one hand and zero effort.



Works great in the driveway, but needs to be tested at the beach with winds...
