here a good one ?

Anyone have a recommendation for an RV park in the Sante Fe area. We are going over for a Native American art show in a few weeks.

Unfortunately I don't know yet where it will be held but thought I'd start getting some informed thoughts from this august body.

Probably be "rattlin" into town via I40 through Albuquerque and north on I25. :D

If you don't need any hookups you can park overnight on weekends at the visitors center about two blocks from the town square. Last time I did this was 1 1/2 years ago. You can't beat it for convenience. It would be a good idea to check at the visitors center to make sure it's still OK.

I think this is where I stayed about 5 yrs ago - very nice park, high ratings. The Trailer Ranch 505/471-9970. I-25 exit 278, NE on Cerrillo Rd 3. 5 mi on left side. There was a hole in the wall Mex restaurant a block SW that had KILLER carne adobado. We could catch city shuttles across the street from the park and go downtown for about 50 cents. Craig

for y'all, the art show is on the plaza in Santa Fe 16 - 18 Aug. ;)

The wife and I went to the Sante Fe Indian Market in 1997. Have a poster sold by the organizing group that we bought at the market, had framed and is displayed in our home. Very nice, very Indian, but that is about all we could afford. It may have changed since 1997, but there were no "bargains" when we were there. They had some pretty restrictive rules on the artists, such as no prints, signed prints, original art only and it was expensive for my tastes. It was fun though and I would go back.
