RV refrigerator problem/question

I have a Dometic refrigerator in my RV. I bought a new gas spark igniter wire for the gas refrigerator. The metal clamp over the ceramic spark igniter has a hole for mounting. If I use that hole the probe is 180 degree out. Not pointing at all to the gas tube. I don't think you can bend the wire probe around that much with out braking it . Any ideas??

I had a Dometic refrigerator in my 98 Lance truck camper. We had issues with it on our trip to Alaska in 06 when it was set to gas. No issues with 12V or 120 electric. Sometime after our trip, I received a recall notice in the mail. After the mother board was replaced, at no charge, there were no more proplems.

Check with Dometic for recalls.

You either have bought the wrong part or its installed incorrectly. Give me the model and serial numbers, and I'll research it for you, I'm an authorized Dometic dealer.
