Has anyone rented an rv site by the month? I have one in Florida that I was thinking about renting it out. Its in a popular location. Jim

My dad has leased one in Raymondville Texas for over a dozen years. Same spot, same neighbors, no surprises. He really enjoys it and goes every year for the winter.

We have over the years but don't do it on a regular basis. In addition to the Escapees forum you might run something on rv.net.com. that is also a popular forum that get lots of readers. Diana

I have. Draw back is that if you have never been there and it turns out not someplace you want to stay you may be out the rest of the months rent. Where in FL are you talking?

My parents retired last year after several decades of hard work and were apprehensive about the sudden change of life. They too rented a site in Fl..... Arcadia... and are having a ball. It is good to here of their tales with all of their new friends and all of the stuff they do at 70years old is amazing to say the least!I was a little concerned for them at 1st but now after a year of retirement,i have no worries for them at all... . short of over exerting themselves maybe!I'm only 40,but when I retire in 25 years , it is what we are going to do. Find a nice place and do it... don't look back!My parents did and they are having a blast. They stay in Arcadia,Fl. at a campground called Toby's for the winter. Hadn't got back yet and when I talked with Pop the other day, he wasn't sure as to when he was coming back. Even armed with the added leverage of our kids wanting to see 'Gummy and Pop. '
