This cold weather is taking its toll on the wife and my arthritis. Anyone got a recommendation for a good value RV park near Palm Springs? Never been there, but it is about the warmest spot in California in the winter. -- Doug

DImberi: Go to trailerlifedirectory.com click on the state of CA then go to Palm Springs & Palm Desert & there are a few listed there. We belong to Thousand Trails Naco so we stay at TTN Palm Springs.

Agua Caliente

Google in Agua Caliente County Park. It's south of Borrego. Very clean park w/hookups and a natural hotspring mineral pool. They also have two mineral- fed swimming pools. Not crowded at all during the week. Not exactly in the PS area but fairly close. Light hiking nearby.

This website is free and usually has information on parks in any area: RV Park Reviews :: Home

I"ve pulled trailers for hire out to that area. What I saw was high dollar RV resorts for the big spenders. I would guess you'd have to get some distance from Palm Springs or Palm Desert to find an affordable park.

The one I'm referring to is off S-2,south of Borrego Springs,Ca.

Is that the one with hot and cold running wetbacks? Palm canyon campground in Anza Borrego state park is clean has full hookups and has a small town near. If your looking for a spot in Palm Springs look into Oasis Rv park it's not in Palm Springs but the next town over and out here there is no space between towns. I think its in the town of Cathedral City but could be wrong. Looks like a nice place many large bus type and 5vers in the place. Also thousand trails on I10 in Palm Des. But Im telling you it's on the side of I10 and I sure the truck traffic would be just the ticket to peace and quiet. There are others in the same gen. local

Try Brenda, Arizona in the Trailer Life guide. Warm and nice, quite inexpensive. Very rural and quiet. Won't work if you are looking for the big city, which the Palm Springs area has become.
