Big truck had to learn the hard way.

4x4 Freightliner with Cummins 8.9 ISL

I couldn't find any existing threads on this topic, but we got supply hoses and pressure regulators for both of our RVs from the RV water filter store. Pthalate free so no bad taste and super nice fittings, heavy duty. It's so hard to find any high quality anything these days. What brought this topic to mind was my supposedly "commercial" grade Speed Queen leaked all over and this is the second time, first time tub rusted out less than 5 years. This time it was the unbelievably crappy drain hose they supply. Disintegrated in several places. So when I had it apart for that I decided to replace the cheap looking supply hoses too, which they recommend at 5 years anyway. Made in America!

I bought my Watts regulator and three different length white water hoses with brass ends from them 5 years ago. Still like new other than a bit dirty. Nice and flexible in cold weather. $$$ but well worth it for a hose you will never replace.

For our clothes washer my son who is a plumber recommend stainless steel braid water hoses for the washer. But be careful that you buy American Made not from China.

Thats the problem! You buy supposedly SS hoses, but made in China and not really SS, poorly swaged, poorly knurled, and disappointing. Burst strength on these hoses from RV water filter store is 200 PSI. I don't think they sell braided SS hoses but maybe they should. Say you get a decent China made SS braid, the fitting might still be cheap and crappy and leak there even though the hose won't burst. I did consider braided SS but I just got bogged down on. So I went with the known company. I just can't stand all this Chinese-made crap! Except my Harbor Freight breaker bar. Thats OK.

The Eley Hose Difference
There are many attributes that make our hoses top of the line and worthwhile additions to any garage. One of the largest differences is the material we use for our gardening hoses. Polyurethane is highly resistant to cuts, punctures, and tears. You can drag it through rocks, over cement, jagged landscaping stones, and thorny bushes and it will still be unscathed. You can even drive over the water hose to really test its unbelievable strength! The polyurethane is two times lighter and three times stronger than other leading water hoses. It will be easy to pull throughout the yard or garden without the need to "fight" it. With this, our FDA-grade virgin polyurethane is drinking water safe. All materials, including the rubber gasket, meet NSF 61 standards and are lead, BPA, PVC, and Phthalate free. This material is also mold and mildew resistant, so you can store it virtually anywhere necessary. When you or the kids want a quick drink from this drinking water hose, you can trust in the hose's quality and Eley's commitment to safety.

You've likely had your garden hose kink, forcing you to trace the length of it to release it. With our durable garden hose options, you won't have this problem ever again! Our hoses are crafted with high-tensile threads woven into a "chain-mail armor" pattern. This results in superior burst strength and kink resistance. Unlike other hoses, ours have ZERO kink memory. The fittings on these polyurethane hoses are lead-free brass and have a commercial-duty crush-proof design. They're built with advanced technology to never leak, and these also have full-flow crimping. Rated to 150 PSI and ready to work from -40°F to 165°F, the Eley garden hose is a must-have for avid gardeners, car enthusiasts, plant lovers, and all other who need a high-quality garden hose at home. We offer these hoses in a 5/8" option and a shorter inlet hose that acts as a feeder.

I have three of their hose reels, one wall mounted, one post mounted, and one moveable with two wheels. Yes they are AWESOME. They range in age from 3-5 years old, no rust or any other issues.
