I have a 1993 dually one ton club cab 4X4 with 230K plus miles. I'm only getting 13 # boost out of the turbo and was told by Dodge that it is what is suppose to be. I had read somewhere that the boost should be 19 #. Which is correct???

If your truck is bone stock. Nothing turned up or bigger injectors. 13 to 15 psi is about right.

My truck puts out about 18 psi with the fuel pin turned. My truck is the same as yours only it has the 3:08 axles under. These do load the engine a little different that the 3:54's yours should have.

You might want to go into your user control panel and set up a signature. It helps so you don't have to type the truck info all the time.

And I don't think you will see maximum boost unloaded. bg

Philip is right on the numbers. I was running about 14 PSI before starting that long slide. Oo. Got to about 32 with the stock turbo and about 36 with the PDR HX35. Still getting things set up for the twins, hope to end up around 55PSI

BG Smith was also right. To see the total boost empty, find a hill or a steep on ramp and romp on it. It will get pretty close to maximum.

Let the bombing begin! ;)

Mine will do the same on boost empty or loaded and on flat ground. :D

Ditto on what Phillip said, mine has the fuel cone turned deep too. Loaded or empty, 18 is it. I have a 5 spd too, probably makes it easier to build boost than a slip-n-go.
