Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) RWAL isn't

In a maximum braking event I've noticed that my rear tires are locking up, and I dont feel that clicking (for lack of a better term) that seemed to be associated with the anti-lock system releasing the rear brakes anymore. Where does one start the diagnostics to troubleshoot the brakes? (The shoes are good and there are no idiot lights on. )

Try setting the slack adjusters on both sides.

Often one side doesn't adjust and the other wheel will lock up on braking.

That must be whats wrong with mine, on cold days I can apply mild brake pressure and my drivers side rear wheel locks.

I so hate that, I will be braking for a stop light and LOCK UP haha
