I had a problem when working under the hood. As I was reaching and stretching into a tight spot behind the fuel filter I felt and heard something snap. I had pressed too hard against the RWAL valve switch and it broke (its the yellow plastic switch that screws into the Valve that is under the brake master cylinder). It came out really easy and I thought, “no problem, cheap fix. ” So far not so. Schucks' parts man didn't even know what I was talking about so I took the service manual with me—still no help at all. Went to NAPA and got a better parts man but still no help when it was all said and done. Called the dealer parts department and the parts lady had no idea what I was talking about even after I described it in detail and read the exact description from the manual. She asked somebody else and they determined that the fix is, order the whole valve for $150. 00. Man, its only a cheap plastic switch with threads on one end and a little metal rod down the middle with a snap fitting molded on the wire side. My temporary fix was JB Weld. If I knew that it works OK I'd just make do with that. Do any of you guys have experience with what I've described? Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
