well, i did it... installed boost and pyro gauges and a JVD Torque Enhancer fueling/boost box. Let me say first that the JVD is an awesome box

it really wakes that cummins up, i really didn't realize just how lazy our trucks are before modifying! now some questions... first my pyro (dipricol) seems to be very dynamic, is this usual? what about max EGT, i know that the magic # is 1300*F, but with the JVD on 50% fueling and boost hitting 42psi the EGT's climb very quickly and have pinned the guage at 1500 on high acceleration. are EGT allowed to have brief high temp peaks or is the magic number for sustained temps?
yes, my clutch slips on 50% as well, has anyone ever broken u-joints and the such though? i am afraid that the stock clutch will be replaced soon!!
anyhow, i have been running around with the JVD set on 20% and it is awesome... guess i really can't use hi till i get a clutch
