I have one on my truck and i'm happy with it. Quality was as good as most intakes i've had in the past. It has a nice whistle to it, but its not to crazy loud. It also seemed to wake up my truck, but my truck also wasn't stock when i put it in. All in all i don't think it can be beat for the money.

anyone else have one of these? just wanted to get a little info. how does it sound? and are you happy with it? anything break or come apart?

I had one for a little while. I think it's a great CAI. The only problem is, it's not a whole lot different than the stock set up. It's opened up a little more and has a bigger filter which are really the only differences. Of course the torque tube will flow better than the stock because of no restrictions.

It doesn't flow as much air as other CAI's out there which is the reason I changed mine. I'm working on building large HP and wanted a CAI that not only was louder but, moved more air.

It's been said the stock air box can handle up to 500hp so in reality, there no reason to even change it unless you're going over 500hp.

The S&B will give you some turbo whine but, not a lot. If you really want to hear the turbo scream... you might want to look at a more free flowing CAI.

I like it. I have replaced the filter with a AEM dry Flow dry filter, a bit better. I have removed the large plastic cover the one with the small square hole that the factory box matched to. I opened a four in hole in the front and on the bottom. I just recently added the Amsoil Nano Dry filter. What a difference. I just don't like oiled filters. They are OK until time to reoil. I have some older pictures in my members gallery.

so you like your amsoil nano better then the s & b filter where can i scoop one of them up? I had other intakes on some dodges and think that s&b is kinda of lacking some qualtiy. I dont like the fact that they cut cost so much and used the stock elbow to mount to the turbo and i dont know if i just got rimmed off but i didnt get any rubber piece to put between the air sensor and tube so i had to fab one up. so the screws were wanting to strip out but i got them in.
