S&B filter box

Any one tried this filter system ? it was featured in a Truck Trend magazine . Seems to me the only advantage to this is the big opening that lets more air into the air box .

I guess I Cannot see what you would be gaining vs what $$$ you would be loosing $$ by putting one of these on !! Marketing HYPE IMO. However, each to his own opinions.

I have both S&B and Magnaflow DPF back exhaust. I put them on knowing they are purely cosmetic. The only gain is if you want a little added turbo noise you can leave the cover off the S&B. I read the article and had a good laugh at their claimed gains
