S&B Intake

Has anyone heard anything about the S&B filter intake? I've seen these on ebay for about $270 for the filter and filter box, or $550 for a package that includes the intake horn. That's a great price when compared to other intake systems. I'm wondering if they are any good.

got mine and a few other goodies here 94-02 Dodge 5. 9L Cummins Diesel S&B Air Intake System 75-5044 after shopping ebay, no complaints as of yet, i added some foam to seal between the opening and the fender support to keep engine heat out of it as theres about a inch gap

When I had the 6BTA marine in my boat I installed an S&B filter. Much better quality that K&N that's for sure. Great product.

Does any one know how these filter compair to stock as far as how clean the air is? We all know they flow better but how about filtering? I am not ready to dust out my engine yet... .

I've had the S&B on mine for over 60k now, clean & re-oil it (have K & N maint kit from wifey mobile) every oil change. S'All Gud.

The S&B intake sure beats the AFE stage 1 with the yellow filter. The truck can actually breath in now.

I don't know about the cfm's but I put an s&b unit on my 05 and loved it, it replaced a overpriced banks. I got the rechargable kit.
