SEMA tickets

I have a contact who says he has tickets for me for Friday, don't have them in my grubby little hands yet though. But I've already arranged Friday off as a vacation day on contingency.

My plan is to walk my tail off looking for cool truck stuff, take all the pictures I can and maybe some notes. If I'm really inspired I might write an article or two for TDR submission.

I've been wanting to go to this show for years and this would be the first time.

So, why do you ask?

Wish me luck.

Neil

Az Guys heading that way

Jim Obyrne,Kenny from Turbo diesel performance and myself will be going up on thurs. to catch the last day of the sema show on friday. Duck are you going to be racing/dynoing?

And. . . don't forget the Midnight Mayhem drags Friday night and dyno day Saturday at Silver State Motorsports (Bldg Q - 103) both at the Las Vegas Speedway (see national events forum).

A buddy of mine will be there. ATTITUDE PERFORMANCE, name is matt. Does probably the best lift kits in the country and is a great guy to do business with.

Just got back. Wow. Lots of great stuff. I think if they doubled the size of the convention center (and they already did recently) they'd still have enough interest to fill it with cool rides and products.

No, didn't stay for any of the Friday festivities. Had to get back for work. Had a blast though.

Not enough time

Sema show was soo- big i couldn't get to everything. I figure it would take 2. 5-3 days. Did get a chance to talk with Aron from Edge Products about when we can get our hands on the 03 comp box, says in DEC. Congrats to Maddog with the 11. 49 run at Vegas strip on Fri. night,he did it twice. Also at the dyno on Sat. Jim Obyrne took top honors with high hp on the 03's. He posted 453 hp to edge out Joe Donnelly,Maddog once again took top hp at 685,after which we found his tires were spinning on the dyno.

Walcott, those are good numbers. Did Jims truck set any codes on the dyno? I was there also believe we met, thats to bad that Richards truck spun on the dyno. It doesn't surprise sense he was spinning all four tires at half track. That was great watching all the diesels beating up on the ricers. What did Joe D. end up dynoing? :D

Spent Tues-Thurs at SEMA. Boy, my feet were tired. I never knew so much stuff existed. Incredible, and if you ever have a chance to go, don't pass on it.

Saw some great stuff, and spent time with a lot of vendors. But I'm afraid I only saw a fraction of what was there. Guess I'll have to go back next year again...

It's all good fun

Danhill,It was a blast to watch Maddog stomp the AC cobra, when we met for breakfast on sat. morn. before dyno he mentioned he wished he would have had the video,as luck would have it my wife happen to catch all three runs. Needless to say he was stoked!!

Jim's truck did not set off any codes while on dyno, but as we have raced at numerous raceways he has had boost codes to no end with the bullydog /pdq boxs. Joe I believe posted 449 on the dyno, his truck sounded like it was running real good!

Maddog was the ford with the cummins stomping anyone racing him. The 03's on the dyno were Jim and Joe.
