I'm getting ready to tackle the install of the Daystar 2" front leveling spring spacers on my 'o4. Can anyone who has done this install give me an idea of any special tools needed ie. spring compressor, pickle fork, joint seperators, etc. that I may need to be sure and have? Time frame of how long I should expect it to take? Just got this truck a few weeks ago and need to get that front end up so I can get those H2 rims I picked up off ebay on it!!! On that note, can some one give me the exact diameter that I need to open up those H2 rims to? CNC the best or can a shop w/a good lathe do it? Thanks in advance for any help. This place is making my brain overflow w/all the good knowledge/info/tips!!!

Don't know about your H2 wheels but the DayStar spacer is a pretty easy and straight forward installation. You will need to un-bolt the shock and install a HD coil spring retracting tool, while the truck has weight on that wheel. Then jack up that side of the truck, high enough to allow the axle with it's compressed spring to drop far enough down so that there is room to install the spacer. it will just bolt in to the stock location, and the shock tower bolts back. Most people get longer shocks to go along with the spacers installation, that is up to you. Good luck
