What happened to the GLTDR ?

Mopar Nats

heres my timing kit, $2000 worth of griping i hear everyday from the wife :-{} says i could have let her go shoping with it.

Matt,

You have to work on your "She Money" account! That'd be the money "she" don't know 'bout! Then the timing kit only "costs" $1000, you give her $500 to go shopping with, total cost $2500. Consider the $500 a form of marital taxation. ;)

All in fun,

Bill

John can we get a group buy on the car drooling? Thats one AWESOME ride!!

now you just need to get a 70 challenger 440 RT in plum purple with a black top!!! (my dream ride... next to my 01 CTD)

Soooo I have this hole in my bed... now what should I do with it? hahahah well not yet but soon! Ive just got to get 3 4" 90* elbows :D

Ian

So you are going to stack that thing huh Ian!! Very cool. Man i might have to go out to Maryland next weekend. John mind if i borrow your truck ;) LOL

Matt nice kit. But i see alot of waste there (don't take that the wrong way plz) Just most of the stuff i probably would NEVER use!!

All i need to do the timing is the Dial indicator, the indicator base, DV socket, Barring tool, and Pump gear puller. Matt am i right ??

Matt i would love to put twins on this truck!!! I have an extra set of injectors that i could EDM myself. I'll call them "my special big *** EDM-wanna-be's with 4 Gigantic 1/2 inch holes in the tip" <--- tough to say. Think those monsters would give me enuff fuel ?? Or am i a fool ?

Serious though let me borrow that turbo for May, i'll make sure and get a PDR race pump with 6grand kit, and special lazer cut DV's, and hook up my comp box that i've had sitting around for a while. O and i'll stack a TST on top of the Comp!!!

Good thing it's a couple hours past beer:30 <--- my excuse!

Curtis

Im giving it alot of thought about stacks but im still 50/50 on the deal. Im still pouring money into the 6. 2 to get another spare motor and body pannels for the cab, but I might go for stacks AHHH i dont know

I just had to share some pics of my latest project "got horn?" hahaha

Blue tank and 1 set of dual horns goes on dads durango, black tank and 2' horns go on my truck, 1 dual horn plus pull lever goes on the dump truck and the 3' ones im still debating on putting them on the truck but I need to get a baffle for the one. and the other set of duals im rebuilding. woohoo!

Ian

IColeman,

Could that air comp. work on a set of train horns? :p

I always wanted a set since I had them on my big truck a few years ago. ;)

Now the next question is $$$$

Let me know.

I'll try to come up on Sunday to visit & meet you guys in person. Will beer get real warm on the ride from Chicago? :-{}

WAYNES WORLD

LOL john that would be awesome!!!

Does anyone know where i can pick up a goose neck setup for the bed of my peecup?? Or anyone have a 30' (at least) bumper pull flat bed i could borrow/rent?? Or know where i could rent one at ?

My bro has it in his head he needs to go to Miles City, Maryland and pick up 2 ford explorers. Would like to only take 1 truck, instead of 2. Shouldn't weigh more than 10k. Boy is my trans/TC going to hate me!!!! He wants to leave in 2 weekends.

Blue Beast care to take a ride ??? ;)

Ian just stack the darn thing.

Curtis

im going up to flint saturday morning if anyone wants to get together.

curtis,

the trailers i have access to arent long enouqh for two cars. wish my buddy still had that three car wedge. another buddy knows of a 35' gooseneck for sale. i have been bugging him to ask him if he wants to rent it out while it is sitting there doing nothing, but he never gets a hold of the guy. i wish i could afford it, i would buy it.

see you all later, mark

I have the same problem, no money (to spend on a trailer anyhow) O well maybe when i'm old and decrepit i will have enough money to play with and buy a trailer. Then it'll just sit there cause i'll break a hip trying to hook up the darn thing ;)

Anyhow does anyone care to start a list of who will be bringing what supplies ???

1. Ian - picknack tables

2. Matt - His work truck (that's enough work for him) LOL ;)

3. John - His cuda, and of course the dodge can come along as well.

4. Curtis - 2 Grills, some beer, some coolers, some food.

Anyone else care to add to the list ??

I know alot of you guys have volunteered to bring something, just put your name in on what you'd like to bring.

Curtis

i can bring some hamburger and chips n stuff, and the baddest truck anyone is gonna see down there Oo. Oo. got a yuper comin down from houghton lake with a ee built motor, twins, cam, pump work and i think the work truck found its sister  i rode in this thing and its baaaaaaaaadddd!!! i swear we did a 100' burnout before he had to get on the binders to avoid goin over a car!!! this is the fastest truck ive ever been in, pulls way harder than my 95  i would put my money on 550+hp its crazy, and spools fast as lightning. mines gettin the twin treatment soon!!!

ron, ya better chime in here and help support me here. i got pics i will show if he allows me to, very crafty work on his half, a little wg work and there would be no stopping it!!!

curtis im not sure what i will have to bring down but it will be better than last time, gonna start a secret project soon :D

wayne, i was down by you last week, but was having troubles gettin through chicago so we couldnt stop  but i have the fix to your heat problem, it works for me anyways, buy 6 at a time and when you get through that 6 you will have to stop for nature and pick up 6 more they stay cold that way. (i know its cheaper to buy in bulk :-laf )

matt

Man hopefully the dood from houghton lake does come down!!! That would be awesome... .

Being the promoter of this event (with everyones help appreciated) I have decided we will see who has travelled the farthest to get here. The folks with mileage under their belt will be the first to dyno (their choice). I do not want to turn anyone away this time, and will do everything i possibly can to see everyone gets their respected dyno time!! Hope everyone agree's.

I do not want to turn anyone away, but right now i would like just diesels to attend (with exception to TDR members personal vehicles, our own drag cars, anything cars) If anyone on here has a friend with a diesel, bring it on, see's someone in a parking lot with a diesel and wants to run the rollers, bring it on.

I think we have more diesel trucks that we can possibly dyno in a day and a half.

Remember why we're getting such a good deal also. We respect what's going on at the dyno owners place of business, and we come with a good sized group. Group meaning TDR, GLTDR, or Diesel nuts period.

I do not want to say no to anyone, but if it will be tight getting all of our diesel trucks on the rollers, then i will have to say no to a non-diesel (with the exception above stated)

Anyone agree?? Disagree ?? Agree to disagree ?? State your peice, i'm open to anything.

Waynes World you're more than welcome, drag some of your buds from ILL up here with ya.

Thanks John for volunteering your hamburg. Everyone make a note of it.

Ok i think i've spoken my peace. If i need to clarify a little let me know.

Curtis "It's just a WORK TRUCK" Don't know why that sticks with me LOL hahaha

O i forgot the main reason for posting LOL

Greg do you think Dave would like to come back and run?? He's more than welcome, he will have a place to stay, if needed. If you think he would want to run, please get ahold of him for me. Talked to him that night after the drags and wouldn't mind shootin the breeze with him some more.

THANKS

Curtis

Matt,

Was that you I saw with the big billowing smoke clouds following his truck.

You made the 10:00 pm news. :-laf

My surgery rehab is about up. Work is calling every other day, bummer. :(

Thanks for the heat relief suggestion. Do you speak from previous experience on this issue ?? :--)

What brand of fluid is to your liking???? ;)

I-6DZL,

I let the other guys from Illinois know about this event.

Save room for the good looking truck of mine at the event. :p

WAYNES WORLD
