Heard from a couple of people that the 47RE has allready been fazed out.

If you order an automatic Diesel powered truck, you are going to get a 48RE, no matter a SO, or HO, both will have '48's.

Can anybody back me up on this? What yall think?

I test drove a calif version 235 hp( super slug) a few weeks back. It had a 48re. Kind of a waste of a stout trans on a week truck. I have to give it credit though as it only had 16 miles on it. Yes the 47re is history. Good for everybody accept Bill @ DTT.

Best regards
