Well its that time of the year agin. After talking with the other two instagaters of the event we have set the date for Oct 4th this year.



Like the other years there will be on site camping for the people that want to camp over. For the people that want something not that primitive there are a couple of hotels in the local area. There is the Best Western in Peru 765-473-8800. That is the recommended one in Peru. The other one is a Knights Inn>765-472-3971



If you have any parts you want to bring to sell/swap you can post in this thread. BUT do not post prices or anything. Take all communication with someone about parts to PM's or emails.



As it gets closer to the event I will post items needed and so on. I'll send directions out a week or two before the event to people who are wanting to come.



BTW like the other years. This is a 1st gen event. If you have a conversion vehicle with a 1st gen engine that is fine bring it on.

hopefully the old girl will let me get down there this year, just starting the new job and wanting to the cab/bed swap done but all is well plenty of time, just keep on me about it guys i want to meet everyone i think the only person i've met is twhorline

I thought Bill and Chris stayed in the budget motel? You know, the back or cab of the pickup?



Count me in as a definite maybe. I will actually be a lot closer to Peru this October than in years past (just outisde Louisville), but taking the time (and having fuel money) to go while at school may pose a problem.

The one in town is not very good. The Best Western is the prefered one.

My wife is not going to drive HER truck this year in favor of a wedding. sigh



Tugboat Phil said he may so lets bombard him with e-mails. I sure hope he decides to drive up!!



Thus far; I have a local friend who will drive out with me. I think it looks good that he'll make it this year. He has the nicest 1983 4X4, Four -door conversion you have seen in a long time. Oh, and the engine is modded via the SMOKE HOUSE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and it do.

I'll talk to Keenan (KRB on the DTR) and see if he wants to convoy. Philip, I wont post a word on the DTR. :-laf Girlfriend isnt sure we will have enough gas money for her to drive out here, and then drive the 92 up to Peru, and come back. I have been working some for the guy who owns the school, and I should be able to come up with enough for her gas, too. I will definitely be there, stacks and all (unless I sell them before then). Jeff, you ever going to buy my 2wd? It just wouldnt be right without the Green Goober there.
