Truck Pulls for Placerville Ca Sept 13-14 2002

Spoke to Ken regarding a dyno day here in Sac . He gave me two dates when he,s available to come in on a Sat. Those days are,Sept 29th or Oct 20th. I,ll need a commitment for 10 trucks for this to work. He does,nt want to make it a big affair this time around as this will be his 1st dyno day so lets just keep it to us Dodge boys. He intends holding other dyno days at a later date for all comers.

The cost will be $60 for 3 runs which is pretty reasonable & it is a Mustang Dyno.

So all you guys that want to do this ,let me know if these dates will work for you . Personally i,d like to do the Sept date.

E-Mail me or let me know on the forum.

Ian

count me in!

I am definitely available for September, not sure yet for October. I have two guys I work with that may be interested - I'll ask on Monday.

C'MON Sacramento!

If you're stock, you need to know where you're starting.

If you're bombed, you need to know where you are now.

Ian,

The Sept. date is better for me, as I might be hunting in October. I posted these dates on Diesel-Central as you asked me to.

If it works out for Sept. 29th, I am there!

Tom

Either date works for me - I'll be there unless some serious unforseen date conflict arises - and thanks a million for doing the legwork for us Sac area fellas! :D

new-bee

Treeman,

I am not sure if I want to partake, but would sure like to watch.

I am a new-bee to both TDR and the Cummins, so bear with me. I recently bought a ’96, 2500, 2w, with 115000 miles. With the exception of a Dual Range Transmission (set-up as an under-drive) and a D-CELERATOR Exhaust Brake, the Ram appears stock.

I am too green (poor and cheap) to know what mods I want to do. I might partake, if so, either date is ok with me.

Wayne ,

Your more than welcome to come & spectate if thats what you want to do,in fact its the perfect place to get your feet wet so to speak & see what makes us diesel nuts tick. Were a friendly bunch & most people will gladly answer any questions on how to direct you on the slippery slope of bombing. Come along & have some fun. Hopefully i,ll get 10 commitments soon so I can post a definate date.

Ian

if I could pull it off it'd have to be the 9/29 for me--after the soccer game--what time will it start and end????... ... chris

Chris

Havent discussed a time with Ken yet as i,m still trying to get ten people to commit to a date, but the sept date is most popular by far so its looking like the 29th. As for the time we,d have to start fairly early to get all the trucks dynoe. d ,prolly between 8 & 9 am thru to around 4 or 5,but i,m just speculating here. I,ll keep everyone informed as soon as i get that magical 10.

All you guys on the fence come on down it,ll be a fun day.

To the top

Guys , ive got 7 names who want to do the 29th just need 3 more to make this work. This will be a fun day lets make this happen.

Ian

Ian - be sure to post all the details, directions, time, etc in this thread - I'm not real familiar with the Sac area... Dunno if it might help to post in a couple of the other forums? I know folks SHOULD check here for events like this, but many don't...

Hello Ian, definately count me in for this event. Would love to see my truck's baseline numbers. Let me know when & where exactly in Sacramento.

Ray T.

Ok have 8 names Tom Golden,Dennis(H Whitaker,Gary KJ6Q, Cumminzpowr,Beast2B, Torqus Maximus,Red dog, & myself.

Come on guys just 2 names by Wed to make this happen. It,s only $60 to find out how much more power you need to have.
