Off Roading Posi in CAD ??

Off Roading Ram/Cummins Baja 1000 support truck

Mike got my computer working again. I now have XP and it rocks IMO! My DSL is working much better. :)

We scanned a few pics so I thought I'd share them here.

When Mike goes to the track with us we WILL have a video.

It Could Be

Could be a incendiary fowl at that;)

Here's my fave pic of the day.

Got a good head of steam goin' here:cool:

Shoulda, Woulda, & Coulda

This was our first 11 second pass up until we had a hose loosen up:mad: Compare the 60' times as well as the I3 or 1/8 mile. We were . 14 seconds quicker on the 1/8 pole over our 12. 0 time.

Better talk to those guys in the tower - tell'm to get some glasses. On the first slip, they show you as car #506, then 508 on the other slip.

HVAC

You don't appear to have lowend fueling problems;) I figure that's 3 times the smoke I put out! I guess my thought of me being under fueled is correct.

Jim

Keep them pic coming... ..... yep DSL rocks!

You must really come on strong at the topend - the Nova was beating you pretty good in the 1/8th...

Great runs - I gotta make the next meet!

can't ya just hear Lee Marvin singing "Paint Your Wagon" the fans come alive when "that Red Truck" gets to the line LOL

picture a ricer in the right lane [a hot one that could keep up] . . would be jet black at the big end hehe

HVAC, forgot to tell you some gasser buds(chassis guy) said (while looking at my truck) some dude was at the Clash of the Titans race in a bad ass red diesel, so I had to talk about your truck, heck now you know in the gasser world and they run high 7's on 10. 5's.

The Nova shutdown early, or broke. Could have been intentionally not running 11's... which would require more safety equipment.

Look at the final MPH.

10.5 Tire Class

Once we resigned ourselves to the fact that our portion of the program had ended, we started paying some attention to the 10. 5 tire class. That's the best racing I've ever had the opportunity to watch first hand. Those guys were kissing the fences, knocking over the timing lights, wrecking, catching on fire, and generally providing quite a show. It's fun to see the Nos cars pitted against the turbo cars.

While we were there we watched a fellow named Millen run his Mustang turbo car to a new record 7. 20. Then he came around later and ran a 7. 17 @ 200 mph! Those cars are NUTZ!!!:D

Dan(Millen) did good last year in NMRA then built the new car and they outlaw'd it for this year in there 28/10. 5 non(W) class, those guys try to put about the same power(91mm turbo vise a 106mm) on regular 28/10. 5's. I followed them more the last 2 years but fell out this year, I guess I'll try to be around them more next year and run in some Diesel classes but not on your level:p

World Ford event is the one to go watch, or the NMRA finals.

Doesn't look like a problem with the lights. Normally, if the start beams are obstructed (by smoke), it will use the 60' light, then the 330' light to calculate the 1/8 mile time at the 8th. You lose the RT and 60', but the rest will be correct.

QUOTE:

"Any chance all that smoke is interfering with the starting 'lights'?"

Do you think the times aren't making sense?

We haven't had any problems.

You should be aware that we use the right lane to avoid these potential problems.

Hey HVAC, where are you getting all that fuel? The 24v with twins never seem to smoke much. Did you lose your VP44 and find P pump laying around?

Nice job Nowel, do you see the 10's in your future? Does the truck hook up now?
