I would be interested. .
Stockton would be closer to the longer travel guys. . Modesto,some Fresno/Visalia,Oakdale and the high/low foothills. to think of a few locations that would have longer drives. .

I would be amendable to that travel. I live about 35-40 minutes away from Stocton. How do we get the ball rolling? Ideas?

Guess we wait and see the how many others want to get going... . I'm still laid up for a while... but want to get something going in this area. . I'm about 1h45m / 2h east. . work 1h15m south but would have no problem with once a monthers

Would that put you in the Mariposa area? Nice country up there.

So we'll wait and see what happens for a while... I might check with other chapters and see how they got going.

As far as i can tell the ram runners in the south bay are one of the few tdr affiliated clubs- I'm a member and there are a few other club members that live in the east bay- gary check with hvac to see if he has the info on how to organize- or check the web site www.ramrunners.org----- curt

Heetseeker_1, what's the next town near you? I'm wonderin' if your in the central valley between 99 and 5? I'm thinkin' south of Manteca?

Seems there are enough folks in the Sac/Camino/Murphys/Auburn/Diamond Springs area to Oakdale area to get a group together. Ram Runners East? #ad
There is a good group in the north bay too. A number of them come down to our meetings in SJ. I'd like to see a chapter in the central valley too, we could combine for events like the "October Showdown" in Tulare, or the new May Madness in LV next year. Or for whatever. I'd like to see a quarterly regional meeting. The more, the more better #ad

I live East of Galt and North of HWY 104 in lower Wilton. (It used to be Harold but we had an identity crisis) I sit East of hwy 99 about 6 miles. Nice and country, just the way I like it. #ad


More the more better? Sounds good to me. I have sent e-mail to the moderator asking questions on how to form and start off but haven't heard from him yet.

I have heard from a few of the 'poison oakers' from the mountains and I think we could get a few more even yet. I KNOW I can get several just from the fire dept I work at. I'll do some more homework and see what I can come up with.

HEY ALL I LIVE IN SAC AND WORK AT SWIFT AUTO WORLD. I JUST JOINED THE TDR AND MY TRUCK IS ALMOST DONE. I HAVE A 75 CREW CAB POWER WAGON THATS GETTIN A 93 CUMMINS. I THINK IT WOULD BE GREAT TO HAVE A CHAPTER HERE.

I'm about an hour from Stockton (I live right on hwy 4 in Concord), and could go for that. It's way better than trying to get to Campbell for Ramrunners.

BUT... I'd have a lot better chance of making meetings of either group if they were on WEEKENDS instead of weekdays. Going east on Hwy 4 between 3 PM and 9 PM during the week is about impossible due to traffic, as is crossing the Benicia bridge to the north because of the toll plaza.
