Fire truck overhaul

I mean, I wait for MONTHS for the hand shaker to come out of the donor truck, Blumenthals redoes it, sends it to me... then I need a way to get to a certain persons shop to swap...

So my buddy says, "You can use MY truck... but you HAVE to post pictures of it towing YOUR truck on your precious TDR... that is the deal, fatboy. "

Okay Sherman, here they are, as promised.

Relative with trailer: "You wont hurt that trailer. I have towed HUGE cars... . CADDYS in fact... I have never hurt it. "

HEHEHE

OOOPS, guess he forgot how heavy a Cummins 4WD really was.

Sorry Norman!

:--) :--) :--) :--)

Yes, those ramps WERE mint when we started.

At least it got there, even if it did it in a shamefull way.

I think the nice shifter on the column will make a SWEET mounting location for the new EGT meter and boost guage.

:D :D :D

Good job on the ramps. :D

As for being towed by the Chevy.....

Say this..... well... Chevy wouldnt get out of my way so I just ran up the back end of him.

and when the straps get mentioned. :-{} "what straps... I dont see no steenking straps"

all kidding aside... I do feel your pain. Just remember that payback is a b**** and you know with the Chevy that you'll get your turn to do so.

I know how it feels. Last weekend I had to pull my baby home behind my bosses '02 Duramax. :{ :mad: :-{}

I just had to think to myself how much more fun it would have been if it were the other way around...

I was really glad that when I needed a tow the other day, they sent an International instead of the more common Ford tow truck. Sure, it wasn't a Cummins, but at least all the Ford boys at work couldn't ride me _as_ hard...

with a ford

I bought my truck wrecked and the only truck I could barrow to go get it was a ford 6. 9 diesel... but it did ok... sure was loud in the cab!. the whole way I was wishing I was driveing my dodge!.

I got stuck up north last year offroading... . called a tow truck and I was sure happy to see a Cummins Dodge tow truck show up... . embarassing if it were a typical ford.

Whenever someone gives me I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER about repairs I just remind them how many miles I have on my truck and ask them why they don't keep their vehicles that long. It usually brings them to a dead stop. Then I'll just say how much I still enjoy driving it even after that many miles. What can they say?

Most of my friends drive Fords and they know better than to start laying down a bunch of crap about Dodges, which they know nothing about, or I'll start telling them more than they want to know about problems with PSDs and ask them who will do major repairs, like water pumps. When they have their hoods up I start asking whats that? It's quite amusing. ;)
