Some may call it a good day, but it was kind of sad. The stacks came off the truck and a strait pipe 5" system went into its place.

It is way quieter in the cab. Haven't driven it on the interstate to check if there is any drone yet. With the window down you can actually hear the FASS now.

For some reason people don't want to buy a truck with stacks??!!?

The guy who is hopefully going to buy the truck wanted exhaust... . for his wife's sake.

what a shame... . how do you run a dodge diesel powered pickup without stacks?!?!??! If I had a wife I would tell her every lie of an excuse jsut to buy the truck with the stacks. I might even try to buy the stacks with the truck just pay the seller to hold onto them for a little while. then slip them on one night when I send her out to the auto parts store to pick up some muffler bearings or something of that nature from any of the autoparts stores in town (30 minute hike one way). As long as she isn't gonna be riding in the 5th wheel camper trying to sleep in the bed illegally while we are on road trips what does it matter if you have stacks???? So glad Im a bacholer. I don't have rules from another half.

Hey guy what are you doing about the 4 or 5 inch diameter hole in the front of the bed?????

It was an end by some sorts. But it is hopefully a start to a new project. As much as I liked the stacks, I have to say the 5" is nice.

Kept the original "plug" that was cut out so it will be put back in. Also still have the factory plastic bedliner that will go back in. The guy who is buying it knows that it had stacks so it shouldn't matter too much.

The exhaust kit was purchased from Gus Farmer. We put the stacks on with band clamps so it was really easy to install. I think it looks good too. If I were keeping it, it would probably get a 6" tip.
