Safe boost levels

I recently ordered an adjustable boost elrow for my '03 S. O. 5-sp. I am just curious how far I can take it safely? I have the hot juice, cold air intake and a smooth shot from the air box to the turbo. I don't want to ruin anything. I know you can only run so much boost woth a stock turbo and I don't want to exceed that, so if anyone knows what the limit is please let me know. I am only running about 23 psi. at wot. right now. Upon clamping off my wastegate actuator hose I saw the upper thirties. Thanks in advance!

Mid thirties are about as high as you would want to see for the stock charger.

Thanks mattymac, what would be an indication of going to high with the boost? I need to know if I am getting to close to the limit. P. S. where did you get your cigarette lighter mount for your guage. '98 with 248... pretty good, but my previous vehicle was a '94 Chevy K1500 With 287,000 (original 5. 7), never mind the three auto's I either repalced or rebuilt for it!!!
