Marco advertises that an auto will handle sw#3 safely. Even #1(30 hp+timing) will greatly enhance your performance and driveability. I've found that EGT's are lower with Smarty on #1 & #3,than stock, but gauges are a must.

Yes i believe it would be safe for u if you stay at mild or stock torque managment and 60 horse or under. It will greatly improve drivability in my opinion and also increase fuel milaege. I have run moderate torque managment and 90 horse on my truck before, you just have to be careful with it if ur trans is stock and mine is, so.

I have no doubt you will be ansolutley blown away in the change you will see in your truck, even at SW#1. Bob Wagner is the man to talk to! I have been VERY pleased!

I have to echo what all the other Smarty users are saying. Even SW1 is a huge improvement over stock. It will smoke if you are heavy on the fuel pedal. I'm getting pretty good at not smoking when I don't want smoke. I don't have gauges, but I drive conservatively most of the time anyway. I'm running SW5 right now without issues. It will rocket you across an intersection in a hurry; of course it will look like it, too, with the black plume obscuring where you've been. Need the towing beta.
