After a lengthy discussion with Mark at TST, the problem was determined you CANNOT use the edge elbow as it will not allow boost to bleed off, with the Edge elbow he estimated the turbo spooled to 65-70lbs. and boom it went to turbo heaven!Save yourself a few hundred bucks and install the correct elbow, learn from a couple of AZ knuckleheads what you can't do.

TOMEYGUN,hats off to ya,you were right on the money!!

Alan in AZ

I've got the 235 hp 2004 calif special. . I put the edge on and the elbow. I added the elbow later and it by iyself did not seem to help. . Why would edge put it in the package and recommend it to me on the phone if it were dangerous??? Marty

The elbow is fine with the edge box and in my case it does lower egt's. What they are saying is NOT to use it with the TST box it will cause too much boost.

I lost my turbo to the Edge elbow/TST box combo. I would see 45lbs on the TST display which really meant the boost could be anything 45 and above as the stock MAP sensor max's out at 45. Dodge replaced my turbo under warranty and I installed the TST elbow with an updated box. No codes, no worries. I couldn't be much happier. I just need a clutch to handle all of the fun I'm having.

Remember - fuel equals boost - so the edge only has enough fuel for about 35 lbs of boost - but with the TST box, the fuel is there to make much, much more boost.

I heard a guy plug the wastgate with the Ez- only hit 38 lbs on level 4, that shows you just how much that ez elbow bleeds off (not much)

Generally speaking more boost=less heat but when you're off the map of the turbo that isn't the case. I'm still running my stock elbow and it works just as well as TST's as far as I can tell.
