not sure about salt lake or sandy but in morgan its pretty much hardpacked topsoil most people use a 33" allterrain

It all depends on where you are going to pull.



Most tracks I have pulled on out here are not that packed at all. If you run big power I would choose a fairly aggressive tire.

we are starting to lean more to a mudder traction and getting away from the a. t. tire i am running g-124's from goodyear

All Terrains seem to work really well out here. Mudders tend to break things easily if you don't have the drivetrain built up a little. I took either 1st or in the top 3 in most of the pulls I did last year with Pro Comp Xtreme ATs. Sometimes they over water the track and it can be a little muddy but hard underneath.
