samsung j3 smart phone

Anybody here have a samsung j3 smart phone ?

I bought one a year ago. It's adequate for my purposes (alarm clock, phone, Midas M32 controller, notes, TuneIn, general WiFi access, security DVR monitor, secure password storage, and a couple other things). I put it in an Otter case; I've dropped it a couple times with no breakage. Battery life is good, but WiFi drains it faster (to be expected). Occasionally use cell data. Voice quality is generally decent. Haven't had any problems with it: no reboots or crashes. Most of the day, it sits on the counter idling away.

The reason I ask is I did a sys update a couple of months ago that put a white margin on the top/bottom and left/right on the camera display as well as any new pictures I took. I wont go into the whole long story, but I think is was affecting all the the j3s. I wondered if you might have the same issue.

I haven't seen those oddities.

But now that you mention it, the last time I checked for an update was 10/14/17. I have:

• Model J320R4
• Android 6.0.1
• baseband version J320R4TYS2AQI1
• Hardware version J320R4.01
