I installed a Sky-fi 2 in my W350 about 6 months ago - best money I've ever spent! I hid the antenna wire behind the trim panel in the left rear corner of the cab, then above the headliner to the cargo lamp. I ran the wire out of the top of the cargo lamp and stuck the antenna on the roof about 8 inches forward. I mounted the "dock" that holds the receiver unit inside of the console on the right side so that with the lid open, I can see the display. I use the remote control that came with the unit 'cause it's easier than trying to push the buttons when you're driving! It's not the perfect setup, but I wanted to have the unit hidden and did not want the dock stuck somewhere on the dash.

On mine I ran the wire down the side of the windsheild under the weather strip flap unde rthe hood and threw the rubber gromit in the fire wall that has other wires runnign threw it. It comes to the left and a little above the stop pedal. Then i ran the wire under the top of the carpet to the console. I put the base right in with the flip down cup holders. Worked out great this way.
