Seafood Challange??

US Diesel Truckin Nationals.

Guys, this is a GREAT event. Went last year for the first time and had a blast.

If it's a diesel, you can race it!!!!

BigDaddy I'm sure will chime in here with more details...

We have quite a few going this year!!!

The fastest pickup last year I believe was a Ford that ran a high 13 or low 14. I know we have better out there in this group.

This is the 28th US DIESEL TRUCKIN NATIONAL & MOTORSPORTS SPECTACULAR at Raceway Park

Just as in previous years gates open at 9:00 AM, Tech Inspection and Time Trails 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Eliminations start at 3:00 PM, and Finals at 7:00 PM. However, as tradition would have it, they always run late and the Monster Trucks, Jet Trucks, and “Thrill Show” starts at sundown.

Last year’s Thrill Show was this guy in car (that wouldn’t start) jumping I think, a dozen or so cars. They pushed him down the track, to the ramp, going who knows how fast and then he lands nose first in the middle and flips head over heels  Thought he was dead  but, he did walk away :D A little shaken up, but he did walk away :D

Anyhow, it is always a good time. Hope to see ya there :D

Unfortunately, 9/18 is the rescheduled date for the DHRA division 1 final at Pittsburgh Raceway Park, so most DHRA racers will be there. Except for our confirmed Division 1 Street Diesel Champion, Gene Peters, who had prior engagements and can't make it - he *might* show up at Englishtown, though.

ToolMan will you be there? Im ready as ever. I just hope the truck holds up after this weekend. We'll be wheelin in some serious spots tomorrow. :-laf

I think I'll probably be there. If I do, I'll be bringing the 5er and find someplace local to camp. I know my kids will love the show.

It dosent look like the weather is going to be too good this weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the weatherpeople are wrong as usual.

From Their Website...

Due to the weather the event for Sat. SEPT 18, 2004 has been POSTPONED TO

I can't make it now... :(
