Subject: Ford - New Direction?
[Monday - December 3, 2001…CNBC reported on Ford being in financial trouble. A spokesman for Morgan Stanley stated that their plight is because the American public have not embraced "0 percent" financing, he went on to say that William Clay Ford Jr. being placed at the helm of Ford Motor Company should give them new direction. If you have not done so, please follow the instructions below and help Ford with their new direction. - Randy Shipman]
As reported in the Paragon Powerhouse on page 7 in their NOVEMBER 2001 issue:
ACTION ALERT
"Ford has donated money to environmental groups. One of them is the National Audubon Society. These environmental groups are spending a lot of money putting timber, livestock grazing and everything else out of business in the West" – Doc Lane
The "Grassroots" almost have a win on Ford!
Immediate action on this is vitally important so that we can show other Green-Giving corporations and foundations that we have the numbers, the pocketbooks and the voice to negatively impact their bottom line.
Charles Child, News Editor of Automotive News stated, "Ford Motor Co. is in deep financial trouble and that their economic mainstay is the F-series pick-up truck and that Ford is still the leading seller of pick-up trucks in the U. S. " If anything, we must increase the pressure against Ford.
Let Ford hear the thunder from Grassroots America now!

Not sure what to make of this, but I do know that Ford has been a huge contributor to the green groups, even the ones that lobby for extreme emissions reductions and fuel use reductions.
So I'm wondering what Ford has in mind for the day when their best selling vehicles won't be allowed?
