Pulled over behind a Ford dually to check out his tires. Driver wasn't around, he had 315x75x16 all around. Must have had spacers, cause he still had a good inch or inch and a half between tires. Those come out to 12. 4 wide by 34. 6 tall. Looked good, maybe a tad too wide from the back.

Then, a few minutes later I'm sittin at the light and a Chevy dually goes by with I'd say about 36 or 38s all around, that puppy was fat!

Interco (super swamper) has an LTB 34x10. 5x17 that I'm thinking of putting on my 03 dually along with 2"spacers in front and an inch higher block in back. We'll see.

Got to beef her up and get some mean tread on it.

I can tell you from experience that those swampers are crappy street tires, even if they work well off road. I had Swamper SSR's the radials that are supposed to ride well, and they never did. In fact I was unable to get them to balance out correctly which I think led to premature wear on my suspension. The reality is that there are alot of good tires out there that will do both jobs and look good as well, swampers are off-road only. I will say that in the mud bog they are fantastic, but getting there sucked!!!

I've run allot of swampers before. I don't really want to go that aggressive but the problem is noone makes a tall skinny tire to fit a 17 inch rim. Don't really know how long before someone comes out with something.

they have the trxus in 33x1250x17, but that is too wide for dual rear wheel :(:( but i think i will eventually get those for winter rubber... unless some other company comes out with a good winter tread that is tall n' skinny [like 33x 9 or 10]

yeah, I saw the truxxus and they are to short and fat for what I want. If I could find a 35x10. 5x17 I'd be in heaven. So far the LTBs at 34x10. 5x17 are the closest they make. Allot of swampers actually balance up real well. The only thing about bias ply is they flat spot till you get going. Price is right though, only like 112 bucks each. i may order them up in a month or so.

there is a dually duramax club cab running around my area... i'd say it has oh, 20" tires on 14" rims. . it's slammed. sits about 4" off the ground... every time i see i'm thinking WTF  why would anybody do that to their truck?

interco tire corp makes the super swamper LTB tire, it comes in that size and others. check out their web site, or national tire and wheel. It's a very agressive mud tire, you may not like it.

I believe this guy is running 315's on his dually. #ad

I can't remember what kind of tires they were. I think they were M/T's

The Hooters road racing team used to use a lowered F350 PSD dually to pull their big triple-axle race trailer. Looked kind of cool but I wouldn't want to be pulling all that weight and no suspension travel.
